Understanding COJ's Supplementary Roll 2 - What Joburg Property Owners Need to Know

The City of Johannesburg has released Supplementary Valuation Roll 2 (SUP 2) for public inspection. This roll includes properties that have undergone changes such as subdivisions, consolidations, new registrations, and improvements not listed in the main 2023 General Valuation Roll.

If your property is listed, you have the legal right to inspect the valuation and submit an objection if you believe the municipal value is incorrect. This affects the rates you'll be charged.

🗓️ Objection Period: Open from 07 May 2025 to 20 June 2025 at 15:00

💻 Submit an objection: https://objections.joburg.org.za

🔗 How to Object

Ensure all objections are submitted before the deadline to be considered.

Objections can be submitted online via the City's e-Services Portal or in person at the municipal offices listed on the City's website. No Electronic faxes or e-mail objections will be accepted.
